On what was my 25th birthday.
Personally, I fully believe that if there is one particularly appropriate moment (and there are many others doon't you worry) to dress like a child and/or cake it is on your own god damn birthday. It's extra fun if you are hitting your mid-twenties.
Another plus to note is that it's almost guaranteed at least one person will hit you up with 'oh how old are you now? 20?' And if that doesn't help soothe an ALMOST MIDDLE AGED soul, I bloody don't know what will.
One more hidden fact (I promise this is the last), I am part of the best DJ duo to hit Melbourne since, well, existence. Smalls and Talls. And yes, we are free to host your party next Saturday.

BLACK ON BLACK
Date day Wednesday is fast becoming one of my favourite traditions. What better way to spend your day off than with coffee, delicious lunch, (window) shopping and to top it all off, a frigging rad cupcake. Just me? Ok that's cool, I won't hold it against you.
Melbourne's weather has officially gone to shit, and with that, the only option is fast becoming layers, layers and more layers. As I spoke of yesterday, I am currently really digging toned down colours, or more like a lack of colour altogether. I won't lie though, my second choice of clothing for the day was a bright, multicoloured jumpsuit, so don't be calling me mature just yet.
Wearing - Urban Outfitters jacket, Secret South jumper, Asos pants, Tony Bianco boots, gifted (from the ever wonderful Amy) American Apparel beanie, Rayban sunnies and Alexander Wang bag.
