Winter in Australia sucks big hairy toes. Here I sit, another day where it has done nothing but rain, tucked up under a big blanket and with the heater on. Ok, it might not help that my apartment can only be compared to an ice box, but that's not the point.
In my opinion, the only time when winter is bearable is back home in bonny old Scotland, where everyone (ok, some of us) stay wrapped up in fur and EVERYWHERE has central heating or if you're lucky, even a nifty old fireplace.
So Melbourne, until you can grasp these basic winter essentials, gonna just bring back summer please?
